My Teen Son Got New Clothes & Headphones, Lied That It’s from Dad – I Decided to Follow Him

Prince Harry is reportedly very upset after learning that his older brother, Prince William, has been named Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps. This title was previously held by Harry, and the announcement from Buckingham Palace has left him deeply affected.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams explained that this decision by King Charles is especially painful for Harry, who has often felt sidelined within the royal family.

Fitzwilliams commented, “King Charles’ decision to strip Prince Harry of his role as Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Corps is a significant blow for him. Harry has always felt marginalized, and this action reinforces those feelings.”

He added that the transfer of the title to Prince William, whom Harry reportedly views as a source of many of his problems, has left Harry feeling very emotional. Fitzwilliams also noted, “Harry needs to understand that betraying the family means losing both the disliked duties and the beloved roles of a working royal.”

Despite this setback, Prince Harry has shown resilience. At a recent event celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, he wore the KCVO Neck Order and Star, an honor given to him by Queen Elizabeth II. Royal author Tom Quinn interpreted this as Harry’s way of asserting his value and reminding his family of his contributions.

The timing of William’s new title has sparked further speculation about the strained relationship between Harry and his father, King Charles III.

Although there is much public interest in their relationship, Harry did not meet with his father during a recent visit to the U.K., which has intensified public scrutiny and criticism of King Charles’ actions and priorities.
